Graham H. Turner joined the Department of Languages and Intercultural Studies as Professor and Director of the Centre for Translation & Interpreting Studies in Scotland in October 2005.
In well over 250 publications and presentations over the last 33 years he has explored issues of social and applied linguistics. He has edited international journals in Deaf Studies and in Translation & Interpreting Studies, and published across journals in linguistics, education, sociology, history and into philosophy psychology, engineering and information science disciplines.
Graham has extensive public engagement experience activities across all media for audiences from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival's 'Cabaret of Dangerous Ideas' to the Scottish Parliament.
